Location: North East Lincolnshire

Are you ready to join a successful food production team? We are looking for reliable and motivated warehouse operatives to manage the flow of goods within our state-of-the-art food factory located in North East Lincolnshire. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role perfect for someone who takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties

​As a warehouse operative in our food production environment, your main tasks will include:

  • ​Goods Receiving: Accurately receiving, checking, and recording incoming raw materials and packaging supplies.
  • ​Storage Management: Safely storing stock using appropriate equipment (forklifts, pallet trucks—training provided if needed) and adhering to strict FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles for stock rotation.
  • ​Order Picking: Preparing and picking ingredients and packaging based on production schedules to ensure the factory lines are continuously supplied.
  • ​Dispatch: Assembling, wrapping, and loading finished goods onto outgoing transport, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • ​Compliance: Adhering to all factory health & safety regulations and strict food hygiene standards (HACCP/BRC).
  • ​Documentation: Maintaining accurate paper and electronic records of all stock movements.

What We're Looking For

  • ​Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or factory environment is highly desirable.
  • ​Knowledge: An understanding of stock rotation and warehousing principles.
  • ​Skills: Strong attention to detail and a high degree of numerical accuracy.
  • ​Attitude: Reliable, punctual, physically fit (the role involves lifting and standing), and a positive team player.
  • ​Qualifications: A forklift licence (counterbalance/reach) is beneficial but not essential—we provide training for the right candidate.
